Creating projects that are sustainable, beautifully detailed and well executed motivates her work. She also brings to all her projects a strong interest in the environmental impacts of design.  Prior to starting GSLA Studio, she worked for the prestigious firms of Nancy Goslee Power & Associates in Santa Monica, CA and Reed Hilderbrand in Cambridge, MA, where she designed numerous projects that have received national recognition. Ryan has served on design juries at a number of educational institutions and teaches graduate level studios at the University of Southern California School of Architecture. Ryan received her Masters of Landscape Architecture degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and her Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Architecture from Middlebury College. She is a California Registered Landscape Architect.
